We are open seven (7) days a week for lunch & dinner.
And Sapore has become the word on the Melbourne culinary scene for great food, a stylish yet relaxed cosiness and a stunning bay-side location.
Having just retained the Good Food Guide’s one chefs’ hat for the third year running, with an elevated score for 2012, Sapore head chef Simon Moss’ creative play on classical Italian tastes, with a hint of French influence, has generated a genuine buzz within the food community.
Our menu, served daily at lunch (12-3pm) and dinner (6-10pm), is simple, classic and approachable, with strong Italian influences that allow the finest seasonal produce to shine, backed by an eclectic wine list with clear Italian influences and a friendly, professional service.

Did you know that we have two private dining rooms upstairs? They are available seven days a week and cancater for as little as 14 and up to 45 guests..
Our private dining room upstairs has the most magnificent views of the bay. If you are looking for a function in a restaurant environment, then Sapore has what you need! Perfect for end of year get together, corporate meetings and functions or just celebrating something special!
Our shared menus have been so popular, that we have introduced a fourth Shared Menu option of 5 or 6 courses, including the convenience of finger food on arrival.
